AICE Media Studies

 This is My CCR video. I filmed it while doing a bit of my skincare routine. I thought it would be a good time to do it right be for I go to bed for the day. I will be addressing aspects of our final task and explaining how each question is answered throughout the film. Hope you enjoy it!

This is our movie, The Missing. At first, we thought it wouldn't be so hard to film just two minutes of a film, but we were proven otherwise when we actually started. It was a bit tedious because we had trouble meeting up. We also had a few problems here and there while editing, but it was all worth it. Our group, along with the friends we showed, were really excited about the final result, and we hope you enjoy our Film as well.

 Today we finally met up to add some final touches. It was just Isabel and I this time though.  We thought that since we aren’t doing any more filming, then we didn’t need to all meet. At first I thought I wasn’t going to be able to make it because there was a bit of a misunderstanding with the time. Initially I thought that Isabel didn’t have practice so I would be able to come at 3 o’clock. It turned out that she did have practice and she was expecting me to come in the morning during our study hall. When I found out that she didn’t actually mean after school I knew I wasn’t going to be able to go. However, things actually turned out fine because Isabella‘s practice got canceled. I told my mom and we were able to meet up after all. We met up at around 3:30 PM but didn’t even start right away. When I got to her house things took a while to actually start working. We were sitting for about an hour and 30 minutes waiting for our video to load. So I had to call my mom and ask fo...

 Since the last meetup we haven’t really done much. Most of our work is already done besides minor tweaks. It’s actually refreshing to know that we don’t have to rush I would be too worried about our final product. Isabell and I were actually really happy because of our first meet up date. we didn’t plan on filming all the scenes on the first day to begin with actually. We were just going to film the major scenes and come back for another day. However, Adriana convinced us to shoot all the scenes since we had the time. Because of that, we feel like we already had a huge part of the project off of our shoulders. It was really good that we filmed all the scenes that time because thinking about how we’re always struggling to find another meet up date let me know that it was definitely a good idea to film all the scenes that day. If we didn’t, we would probably be behind in our project.  We were trying to see if we needed to meet up again after then. At first we thought we wouldn’...

 Today we met up tho film. At first we were worried that we weren’t going to be able to because Isabel ended up having practice. Practice didn’t end up taking too long though, so we were able to still meet up. Originally we wanted to meet up at three, but practice didn’t end soon enough for that time.  We got to her house at around 4 o’clock PM but didn’t start right away. We looked over the scenes we already had and how much time they already took up out of the two minutes we needed. We needed to re-shoot three more scenes to complete the film, but we only ended up shooting two. The reason we didn’t film the third scene was because we figured we didn’t really need it. All of the clips we had already put together added up to about a minute and around 45 seconds, and we couldn’t cut from any of the other scenes. By this time, we thought we would have already finished filming. However, we didn’t end up having time at all over the weekend. As we all know, Isabel and Adriana had softball practice over the week. So we weren’t able to film then. Though they had the weekend available for filming, the Easter holiday was on Sunday. Everyone treats their holidays differently so we all ended up being busy after all. For example, Isabel had to go to Miami with her family so she wasn’t going to be available. As for me, I went out for some volunteering on Saturday. On Sunday, I celebrated Easter with my family and we were outside till about 6pm. All of us ended up just being busy because of the holidays for different reasons. We realize that at this point, we really need to meet up again to film. We are thinking Thursday because Isabel will be home at around 3pm. We want to meet when the sun is still high because of the lighting. We wouldn’t want to film with different lighting because by the time we edit ...

  During this week I did some more editing. We still haven’t met up to film yet but we’ve already started thinking of a date. The first week that we might be able to film this Friday. However we can’t do that because my mom is busy so she can’t drop me off. Isabella and Adriana also have softball practice. By the time their practice ends it would have already been too late for us to get together and film. Our best bet would be Sunday for filming. Though we do think that we might also be able to film on Saturday. Isabell and Adriana have practice on Saturday, but they end earlier. This means that we could still meet up if the rest of us aren’t too busy.  Sometimes I get nervous because we have to wait to find dates for all of us to fill together. But I do believe that we’ll  get all our sins together before the deadline. We’ve gotten a good amount of work done already. Will you just want to meet up one more time at least for reshoots.
