 During this week I did some more editing. We still haven’t met up to film yet but we’ve already started thinking of a date. The first week that we might be able to film this Friday. However we can’t do that because my mom is busy so she can’t drop me off. Isabella and Adriana also have softball practice. By the time their practice ends it would have already been too late for us to get together and film. Our best bet would be Sunday for filming. Though we do think that we might also be able to film on Saturday. Isabell and Adriana have practice on Saturday, but they end earlier. This means that we could still meet up if the rest of us aren’t too busy. 

Sometimes I get nervous because we have to wait to find dates for all of us to fill together. But I do believe that we’ll  get all our sins together before the deadline. We’ve gotten a good amount of work done already. Will you just want to meet up one more time at least for reshoots. After that we can edit the rest of the scenes and be done. Hopefully will finish this weekend or next week. However, we don’t want to rush because we want our project to turn out nice. We obviously know that we can’t take our precious time because there is a deadline. But we’ve already worked on a lot and we know that if we start rushing now, we probably won’t be happy with our end result. We wanna wait till last minute to start finishing our film. This is why we initially decided to film so many scenes on the first filming day. Because of that, I’m not so worried about not meeting the deadline, because I know that we’ve already done most of the task.

  I started filming this blog on Friday, October 30th, 2020 when my mother and I went out. I figured that since we were taking the car, I could use that chance to film some of the interior features of the car that would be showcased. Because I needed my dad for most of the other shots, I waited till the weekend to continue the filming. That Sunday, on the 31st, I didn't have the chance to go out so I decided to film the 360 view of the car that would be used in the opening of the commercial. I used a long shot to show the entirety of the car exterior. I also filmed the scene that would come after the opening on that day. This scene was of my father putting a few things into the trunk of the car. On Sunday, my dad and I took a trip to the store. Title Research: Glass

Art of the Title The opening sequence shows the production company in charge of the film. It shows the company that works with distributing the movie. Then it shows the title of the film. The film then starts to show the actors playing in the movie. The sequence then starts to name the people who helped cast the film, as well as the director. It showed who was in charge of music, costuming, editing, photography, then the producers.  The opening sequence starts off with a recap. this film is a sequel, so it begins by introducing the main character of the original. Later on, it introduces some of the other characters. It builds the moment by showing background events that lead to the appearance of the next potential main character.  The first clip of the man speaking to the girls can allow us to assume that the man has some sort of psychological disorder. Genre Research: Final Choice

  Out of all three of the genres chosen, we decided to finally go with Drama. The reason for this choice is that a drama is simply more flexible than the others. There are so many aspects to a film that can make it be considered as a drama. On the other hand, Horror and Comedy have a big more restraint. When making a horror film, there has to be some element that “scares” the audience. Whether it is actually scary or not isn’t the point, but whether it creates a chilling atmosphere. It just didn’t really seem to fit into the prompt of our short film. We don’t want the audience to be too distracted by “not getting scared” to the point where they miss the message we are trying to send. Comedy was a little more close than horror, but again, it didn’t seem to match our story. The main purpose of comedic films is to have the audience laughing.
