By this time, we thought we would have already finished filming. However, we didn’t end up having time at all over the weekend. As we all know, Isabel and Adriana had softball practice over the week. So we weren’t able to film then. Though they had the weekend available for filming, the Easter holiday was on Sunday. Everyone treats their holidays differently so we all ended up being busy after all. For example, Isabel had to go to Miami with her family so she wasn’t going to be available. As for me, I went out for some volunteering on Saturday. On Sunday, I celebrated Easter with my family and we were outside till about 6pm. All of us ended up just being busy because of the holidays for different reasons. We realize that at this point, we really need to meet up again to film. We are thinking Thursday because Isabel will be home at around 3pm. We want to meet when the sun is still high because of the lighting. We wouldn’t want to film with different lighting because by the time we edit the scenes in their place, it would look noticeably different from the others. We didn’t get to edit together since were busy. We thought that we could also do some editing if we met up again. Since we didn’t need to re-shoot too many scenes, we were going to do a bit of editing after. However, since we weren’t able to film at all, we weren’t really able to edit together, or individually. Though I was able to cut some of the scenes shorter. On Friday, I did realize that the time on the film was almost at 2 minutes even when we didn’t have all of the scenes. I decided that we had to cut some scenes shorter, but it wasn’t anything Major.

  I started filming this blog on Friday, October 30th, 2020 when my mother and I went out. I figured that since we were taking the car, I could use that chance to film some of the interior features of the car that would be showcased. Because I needed my dad for most of the other shots, I waited till the weekend to continue the filming. That Sunday, on the 31st, I didn't have the chance to go out so I decided to film the 360 view of the car that would be used in the opening of the commercial. I used a long shot to show the entirety of the car exterior. I also filmed the scene that would come after the opening on that day. This scene was of my father putting a few things into the trunk of the car. On Sunday, my dad and I took a trip to the store. This was the perfect opportunity to film him getting into and starting the car. Title Research: Glass

Art of the Title The opening sequence shows the production company in charge of the film. It shows the company that works with distributing the movie. Then it shows the title of the film. The film then starts to show the actors playing in the movie. The sequence then starts to name the people who helped cast the film, as well as the director. It showed who was in charge of music, costuming, editing, photography, then the producers.  The opening sequence starts off with a recap. this film is a sequel, so it begins by introducing the main character of the original. Later on, it introduces some of the other characters. It builds the moment by showing background events that lead to the appearance of the next potential main character.  The first clip of the man speaking to the girls can allow us to assume that the man has some sort of psychological disorder. Genre Research: Final Choice

  Out of all three of the genres chosen, we decided to finally go with Drama. The reason for this choice is that a drama is simply more flexible than the others. There are so many aspects to a film that can make it be considered as a drama. On the other hand, Horror and Comedy have a big more restraint. When making a horror film, there has to be some element that “scares” the audience. Whether it is actually scary or not isn’t the point, but whether it creates a chilling atmosphere. It just didn’t really seem to fit into the prompt of our short film. We don’t want the audience to be too distracted by “not getting scared” to the point where they miss the message we are trying to send. Comedy was a little more close than horror, but again, it didn’t seem to match our story. The main purpose of comedic films is to have the audience laughing.
